The first footage of Jennifer Hudson as Aretha Franklin in RESPECT is here and you are going to love it!
The 44 seconds clip features Jennifer Hudson dolled up in a sparkling stage dress fit for a queen, singing the late Aretha Franklin’s hit, “Respect.”

The Film
Following the rise of Aretha Franklin’s career from a child singing in her father’s church’s choir to her international superstardom, RESPECT is the remarkable true story of the music icon’s journey to find her voice. The movie is directed by Liesl Tommy; written by Tracey Scott Wilson and produced by Scott Bernstein, Harvey Mason Jr.
The Executive Producers are Stacy Sher, Sue Baden-Powell, Aaron L. Gilbert, and Jason Cloth.
